We have been going to the banana
festival for the 3th year now in our village. Our favorite stand is the one
from the mayor (Vicente S. Taitague) and his wife. They are very friendly and
humble people. The kids watched the banana queen and king show and some
dancing. We bought a lot of fruit trees from local vendors. The kids had lots
of fun hanging around and climbing trees.
We gaan nu reeds 3 jaar naar het
jaarlijks bananenfestival in ons dorp. Onze favoriete stand is die van de
burgemeester (Vicente S. Taitague) en zijn vrouw. Ze zijn bijzonder vriendelijk
en ingetogen mensen. De kindjes keken naar de kroning van de bananenkoning –en
koningin en wat dansgroepen. We kochten veel fruitbomen bij de locale
plantenverkopers. De kinderen hadden veel plezier. Ze liepen er wat rond en
klommen bomen aan het strand.
