Achiote tree harvest at Garden day
When Luna was 6 months old we planted a little Achiote tree or lipstick tree in the garden with the placenta underneath. Meanwhile it became a little shrub. Because her godmother, Rhonda, is local she knows how to make red rice with the seeds. So we made red rice at Garden day. But not only that, also did tie Dye. Rhonda made blanket, all the kids put knots and strings in it and colored it. It was beautiful to see the little red hands. Rhonda told a beautiful flower fairy story about the tree and Luna. She made the puppets herself, she is so creative. When Rhonda wanted to go home Luna wanted to go with her nina. That was so sweet!!! She even went to sit in the chair and Rhonda did a little tour because she insisted. Ekko was a bit worried, it was so sweet, he didn’t want his sister to go. To make sure she would come back he went along for the ride. Soon Luna and Rhonda have to go out together. And the blanket? It turned out wonderful!!!!!!!! It will be her garden day blanket!

Rhonda had ook een dekentje gemaakt en alle kinderen maakten er knopen in om het te kleuren met de rode kleurstof uit het water. Rhonda vertelde een wondermooi verhaal over bloemenfeeёn en de geboorteboom van Luna. Ze maakte zelf popjes, ze is heel creatief. Wanneer Rhonda naar huis ging wou Luna mee gaan met haar meter. Dat was zo lief!!!!!!! Ze bleef zelfs even in de stoel zitten en Rhonda deed een klein toertje omdat ze er op stond. Ekko was een beetje bezorgd, hij was zo schattig, hij wou niet dat zijn zus weg ging. Om zeker te zijn dat ze terug zou komen ging hij mee. Binnenkort gaan Rhonda en Luna uit samen. En het dekentje? Het is prachtig!!!!! Het wordt haar arden day dekentje.
