Ekko loves going to school

Ekko started in the Montessori school the second week of August. We started him a semester later because he wasn’t ready for it. But now he was. He dances into school and says happily goodbye to Tom. Auntie Marie says it is so much fun having him in the group. He loves to make friends and wants to take care of the little ones. He does his work and puts it nicely away afterwards. He doesn’t like to wear his shoes, (oeps moms) but lucky thing they don’t mind at school. When he comes talks about his teachers and says he loves to draw (I think he likes his personal crayon box at school and indeed lately all he wants to do is draw, and also he wants me to draw stuff and then he has to laugh and laugh when he colors it away (in the Ekko way), I’m starting art class again, that will be fun). Bas only started a week later, in a different school, so he was the big boy driving to school with papa in the pick up truck. He always gives everybody a big kiss before school time, so cute!!!!!!

Ekko gaat naar de Montessori school sinds de tweede week van augustus. Hij begon een semester later omdat er nog niet klaar voor was. Maar nu danst hij de school binnen en zegt blij dag tegen Tom. Auntie Marie zegt dat het super fijn is hem in de groep te hebben. Hij maakt veel vriendjes en wil zorg dragen voor de kleintjes (die bijna even oud zijn). Hij doet zijn werk en zet het weg nadien. Hij houdt er niet van om schoenen te dragen, (oei mama) maar gelukkig vinden zed at op school niet erg. Wanneer hij thuis is praat hij over de juffen en zegt dat hij graag tekent (ik denk dat hij van zijn persoonlijke kleurdoos houdt; en inderdaad de laatste tijd wil hij maar steeds kleuren, hij vraagt me ook dingen voor hem te tekenen en die kleurt hij dan al lachend weg (typisch Ekko), ik begin terug kustles te geven bij de Monteressori school, dat gaat fijn zijn). Bas begon een week later in een andere school dus was Ekko de grote jongen die met papa met de pick up truck naar school mocht. Hij geeft steeds iedereen een dikke zoen voor hij naar school vertrekt, super schattig!!!!!
