Krista and Johan invited us to the sheep shave feast in Koersel. It was super exciting. Henk and Lief, the sheperds of the nature reserves, showed how they share their sheep with scissors. There were stands about how to use wool: spinning, weaving and felting. It was so fascinating and beautiful that my hands tickle to do the same.
Krista en Johan nodigden ons uit om naar het schaapscheerfeest te komen in Koersel. Dat was reuzeboeiend. Henk en Lief, de schapenhoeders van de Vallei van de Zwarte beek, lieten ons zien hoe ze hun samen met een schaar scheren. Er waren kraampjes over wolverwerking: spinnen, weven en vilten. Het was heel mooi en boeiend. Mijn vingers kriebelen om dat ook te gaan doen.
