This was on Bassie’s first parent teacher conference. The school band played some songs. The band is awesome. They play in the cafeteria (this is the cafeteria, but they also call it the phoenix hall) at least once a week, or sometimes they practice during lunch. The music at school makes as super happy. He says: ‘I opened the door and the band was playing, they are sooooo good’. Or he tells me that he clapped with his hands above his head! It makes the school super special. They teach the kids at a young age to perform, so the first graders sang some songs too. Bas did a wonderful job singing. The music teacher says: ‘He is a bit shy sometimes but man that boy sings!’
Dit was op Bas zijn eerste oudercontact. De schoolmuziekgroep speelde. De band is fantastisch. Ze spelen minstens eens per week in de eetzaal (dit is ze), en soms oefenen ze tijdens het middageten. Dan zegt Bas: ‘Ik opende de deur en de band was aan het spelen en die is zoooooooooo goed!’. Of hij vertelt dat hij met zijn handen boven zijn hoofd was aan het klappen. Het maakte de school super special! Ze leren de kinderen van jongs af aan optreden dus zongen de kinderen van het eerste studiejaar ook liedjes. Bas zong bijzonder goed. De muziekleraar zei: ‘Hij is soms wat verlegen, maar hij zingt die jongen!’.
